Restaurant Manager

Responsibilities:

● Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth and efficient service.

● Supervise and support front-of-house staff including hosts, servers, bussers, and bartenders.

● Assist in training, coaching, and performance management to uphold service standards.

● Address and resolve guest concerns to ensure a positive dining experience.

● Monitor table turnover, manage reservations, and optimize seating to increase efficiency.

● Enforce health, safety, and sanitation standards across all service areas.

● Assist with inventory control, ordering supplies, and ensuring adequate stock levels.

● Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food delivery.

● Help create staff schedules and adjust shifts in response to business needs.

● Conduct pre-shift meetings to communicate daily specials, promotions, and service goals.

● Handle cash transactions, process payments, and support daily financial reconciliation.

● Support the Restaurant General Manager with administrative duties including reporting, payroll, and maintaining operational records.

● Uphold and enforce company policies and procedures consistently.

● Assist in planning and executing special events, private functions, and in-house promotions.

● Foster a positive team environment and encourage effective communication between front and

back of house teams.

● Step in to assist with service during peak hours or when short-staffed.

Requirements:

● Strong leadership and team management skills.

● Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

● Working knowledge of restaurant operations, food safety, and service standards.

● Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced environment.

● Prior experience in a restaurant supervisory or hospitality role is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

● Prolonged periods of standing and walking.

● Must be able to bend, stoop, climb, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
