About: Casetta Group is a hotel brand and management company overseeing The Pearl Hotel in San Diego, Casa Cody in Palm Springs, and Marina Riviera in Big Bear. Casetta is currently restoring Hotel Willa in Taos, New Mexico and a church in Silver Lake, Los Angeles.

Reporting to: Property General Manager & Regional General Manager

Summary of Position: The Task Force Manager will provide leadership to all departments of a hotel’s operation in support of our service culture, operational efficiencies, and maximize financial profit by working closely with Casetta Group and Partners. This position is also responsible for the coordination and execution of pre-opening/development needs, corporate initiatives, and projects.

Responsibilities:

● Work in all vacant positions including hourly, supervisory, and management roles.
● In absence of the property leader, this role is to function with responsibility for all operations including guest experience, team member satisfaction, financial performance, and revenue generation.
● Develop quick and accurate assessments of the overall health of an assigned hotel to create strategies that are focused on optimizing the operation.
● Lead all key operations training needs including new hire training, brand standards training, efficiency training, etc.
● Pre-opening responsibilities and coordination held onsite.
● Create initiatives with the focus of improving and enhancing the guest experience, ensuring brand standards are aligned.
● Ensure full compliance with the operating controls, SOP’s, policies, procedures, and service standards.
● Responsible for having a strong understanding of P&L statements and having the ability to react with impactful strategies.
● Manage the ongoing profitability of a hotel, ensuring revenue and guest satisfaction targets are met and exceeded.
● Closely monitor the hotel's business reports on a daily basis and make decisions accordingly.
● Responsible for the property asset including upkeep and maintenance of grounds and safety.
● Serve as an ambassador of the property and engage the community.
● Assist with all pre-opening tasks and goals such as critical path items, systems migration, operation efficiencies, leading brand guidelines, and standards, etc.
● Assist with leading all key property initiatives including and not limited to corporate projects, capital initiatives, and cross-portfolio tasks.
● Responsible for working alongside all Casetta Group partners, contractors, vendors, etc. to ensure all expectations and goals are achieved.
● Responsible for legalization, Occupational Health & Safety Act, fire regulations, and other legal requirements.
● Work alongside the Operations Projects Manager and Regional General Manager to ensure brand-wide initiatives are achieved.
● All other duties at the discretion of the Regional General Manager and Casetta Group.

Requirements:

● This candidate must have the ability to travel for all task force assignments and placements. 100%remote onsite at the discretion of Casetta Group.
● This candidate must have a vehicle and a good driving record.
● The ideal candidate is a seasoned and highly intelligent hotel professional with outstanding management skills and extensive hands-on experience. Available to work when needed, including weekends, holidays, and nights.
● Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or a similar field preferred.
● 3+ years of management and leadership experience in hospitality
● Experience in opening, managing, or repositioning a hotel with a clear track record
● Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
● Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with CRM systems, and property and sales management tools
● Excellent leadership and decision-making skills
● Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
